About The Position

The Department of Accounting, Finance, Economics is seeking multiple part-time adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses in accounting, finance, computerized business analytics and business statistical methods for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. Most courses are taught in person with a few courses taught online either synchronously or asynchronously. Salary: $3,000 per 3-credit course.

Requirements

  • An earned Master's degree or higher in the field or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • At least 18 graduate hours in accounting, finance, business analytics, business statistics or a closely related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Interest in active and collaborative learning, and the instructional use of technology.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff
  • Ability to respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Working towards or has earned a Ph.D. in accounting, finance, business analytics, or business statistics or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting.
  • Industry experience in the field to be taught is highly desirable.
  • Lecture and computer-based laboratory teaching experience or related industry experience.
  • Experience with non-traditional commuter university setting.
