About The Position

The Department of Accounting, Finance, Economics is seeking multiple part-time adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses in accounting, finance, computerized business analytics and business statistical methods for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. Most courses are taught in person with a few courses taught online either synchronously or asynchronously. Salary: $3,000 per credit hour.

Requirements

  • An earned Master's degree or higher in the field or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • At least 18 graduate hours in accounting, finance, business analytics, business statistics or a closely related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Working towards or has earned a Ph.D. in accounting, finance, business analytics, or business statistics or a closely related field.
  • Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting.
  • Industry experience in the field to be taught.
  • Lecture and computer-based laboratory teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in accounting, finance, computerized business analytics, and business statistical methods.
  • Engage in active and collaborative learning.
  • Utilize instructional technology in teaching.
  • Respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff.
