About The Position
The Adjunct Faculty position will teach Nineteenth-Century U.S. Disability History for the Spring 2026 semester in the History Department at Keene State College.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in history.
- Expertise in 19th-century US cultural history and U.S. Disability History.
- Ability to teach History of Eugenics in US.
Nice To Haves
- Peer-reviewed work in US Disability History and public history experience with bringing field of disability history to broader audiences including teachers.
Responsibilities
- Design and delivery course content for credit courses.
- Prepare course materials.
- Assess student learning.
- Assign grades, refer students to support services.
- Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students.
- Abide with USNH and KSC policies.
- Participate in appropriate departments/unit meetings.
