About The Position

Eastern Florida State College is compiling a database of qualified candidates for part-time teaching opportunities across all its campuses. Applications for part-time faculty are accepted on an ongoing basis, and submitted applications will be considered for teaching opportunities in various disciplines. The college is currently in need of part-time Adjunct Instructors for the current Academic School Year in disciplines such as Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, Medical Assisting, Medical Coder-Biller, Nutrition, Applied Allied Health, Veterinary Technology, and Medical Laboratory Technology.

Requirements

• Master's degree from a regionally-accredited institution in the discipline to be taught.
• For Technical Programs: Bachelor's degree with specialization and 3 years of relevant experience, or AA/AS degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
• For Vocational Programs: High School diploma with relevant licenses or certifications and 6 years of relevant experience may be acceptable.
• Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator's license required within 30 days of hire.
• Successful completion of fingerprinting and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate degree in the relevant field.
• Experience in teaching at the college level.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in assigned discipline as per the curriculum.
• Prepare course materials and assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities.
