About The Position

The Health Sciences Department at Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct faculty positions for the Spring 2026 semester to teach a course in 1) Introductory Health and Wellness or 2) Social determinants and health. Successful applicants will have significant academic and/or industry experience in the specified area(s) of the course they are applying to teach. These are part-time non-benefitted positions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Health Sciences or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of experience in a health-related field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in group teaching or facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Design and delivery course content for credit courses.
• Prepare lesson plans and course materials.
• Assess student learning.
• Assign grades, refer students to support services.
• Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students.
• Abide with USNH and KSC policies; participate in appropriate departments/unit meetings.
