About The Position

SUNY Westchester Community College seeks Adjunct Faculty to teach Elementary French 1. The position requires 4-5 contact hours dependent on class. Adjunct Faculty may teach up to three classes each semester at the main campus and satellite locations in Westchester County.

Requirements

• Master's degree in French or related field in French Studies
• Minimum of one year of experience
• Familiarity with course management systems
• Experience with online, remote, and in-person classes
• Evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Second Language Acquisition in French or related field in French Studies
• Experience in instructional technology
• One year of classroom teaching in any level of French
