About The Position

This Adjunct Faculty, FNP/PMHNP Site Visitor position will provide support to the Graduate Nurse Practitioner Program with a variety of tasks related to students and preceptors within the clinical setting.

Master of Science, Nursing
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Great accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work well with a team and yet be able to work independently
Ability to accurately follow instructions
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent word processing skills
Ability to professionally handle confidential information
Excellent interpersonal skills for relating effectively with students, faculty and preceptors

Nice To Haves

Minimum seven years' work experience in the relevant business industry preferred
Teaching experience preferred (Not required)

Responsibilities

Complete faculty site visits to FNP/PMHNP students as assigned.
Site visitors always have the option to accept or deny a request to make a site visit.
Observe students within the clinical setting.
Confer with the preceptor regarding students' progress.
Evaluate students' progress within the clinical setting.
Assess the appropriateness of preceptor and clinical setting.
Complete a Faculty Evaluation form for the student.
Complete a Faculty Evaluation of the Preceptor and Clinical Site form.
Submit all evaluations to the course facilitator and [email protected]. - (Essential)
