We are currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach PHYS 123 –Science of Flight at our Fort Lauderdale campus. Course Description: Connects basic principles within select branches of the natural sciences - atmospheric science, biology, chemistry, environmental science, and physics - with general applications of flight. Aerodynamics and aircraft control; propulsion and hydraulics; aircraft materials; effects of atmospheric phenomenon; environmental impacts. Requirements

  • Doctor’s or Master’s degree in teaching discipline, or a Masters’s degree with a concentration in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
  • Degrees Within the Teaching Discipline: Aeronautics, Astrophysics, Atmospheric Physics, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Physics, Science Education.
  • Related Discipline: Engineering, Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geophysical Sciences, Natural Sciences.
