The Colangelo College of Business offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at our Phoenix campus. GCU Traditional Campus - Phoenix, AZ: Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2026 semester (Class start date 09/08/2026) Course: Ethical and Legal Issues in Business This writing-intensive course is a comprehensive study of the legal and ethical issues of concern to business, including those areas of the U.S. legal system that are most relevant to business, such as the law of torts, strict liability, intellectual property, and contract law. It explores the role of ethics and values in business decision making and approaches these subjects from the perspective of the stakeholders as opposed to an economic interpretation of the firm and its responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) AND a minimum of 5 years teaching or work experience in corporate law.
  • Your unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: PhD/JD or Doctorate in a related business discipline with a minimum of 3 years corporate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
