About The Position

Eastern Florida State College is compiling a database of qualified candidates for part-time teaching opportunities across all its campuses. Applications for part-time faculty are accepted on an ongoing basis, and submitted applications will be considered for teaching opportunities on all of EFSC's campuses. The college is currently in need of part-time Adjunct Instructors for the current Academic School Year in various disciplines including Criminal Justice, Crime Scene Technology, Psychology, Education, Early Childhood, and Human Services.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree with a major in the discipline to be taught from a regionally-accredited institution OR A Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline to be taught from a regionally-accredited institution.
  • Successful fingerprinting and payment of the associated fee (currently $36.00).
  • Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator's license required within 30 days of hire.
  • Submission of official transcripts of all collegiate work prior to the first day of employment.

Benefits

  • Part-time faculty members are enrolled in the Alternative Plan to Social Security in lieu of Social Security.
