About The Position

The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University is seeking passionate adjunct faculty to engage and mentor students in the fields of IT and Engineering. Faculty members are expected to provide exceptional quality instruction in modern facilities, focusing on smaller class sizes to enhance the educational experience. The position involves teaching part-time, face-to-face courses at the Phoenix campus, specifically for the Spring 2026 Semester, which runs from January 5, 2026, to April 26, 2026. The course being offered is Edge Networks, which covers advanced corporate infrastructure skills and emerging technologies related to networking.

Requirements

  • Master's in Information Technology or related field preferred
  • 2-5 years' experience as a Network Admin/Engineer managing network infrastructures in small to midsize enterprises
  • Deep understanding of OSI model
  • CCNA, LAN/WAN, QoS, DMZs and VOIP experience preferred
  • Bachelor's or higher in Information Technology or related field with 7+ years of experience as a Network Admin/Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
