Roger Williams University is seeking qualified candidates for teaching positions in Preservation Studies and Architecture for the Spring 2025 semester. The courses include PRES 101 Intro to Preservation Studies, PRES 572 Preservation Law and Regulation, ARCH 539 Acoustics & Lighting, and ARCH 114 Architectural Design Core Studio II. These courses fulfill various requirements in undergraduate and graduate programs, including the Minor in Preservation Studies, MS in Preservation Practices, and the Master of Architecture Program. The positions are part of the Dean's Office, Cummings School.

  • Teach PRES 101 Intro to Preservation Studies, fulfilling requirements and elective options in the undergraduate Minor in Preservation Studies and General Education program.
  • Teach PRES 572 Preservation Law and Regulation, fulfilling requirements in MS in Preservation Practices and elective options in Master of Architecture, MS in Real Estate, and Graduate Certificate programs.
  • Teach ARCH 539 Acoustics & Lighting, fulfilling requirements in the Master of Architecture Program.
  • Teach ARCH 114 Architectural Design Core Studio II, fulfilling requirements in the BS in Architecture Program and Minor in Architecture.
  • Graduate degree required for PRES 101 and PRES 572; Law degree preferred for PRES 572.
  • Professional degree in Architecture and practice experience required for ARCH 114.
  • Previous teaching experience preferred, including engaging students from varying educational levels.
  • At the University's discretion, equivalent combinations of education and experience may be accepted.
