About The Position

Elmhurst University seeks part-time faculty to teach selected undergraduate or graduate courses offered by the Computer Science and Information Systems Department. Classes are offered either in-person or in a hybrid format at various times during the day and evening. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Additional professional experience required for candidates teaching master's courses
• Prior teaching experience and demonstrated commitment to working with a diverse student body and contributing positively to an inclusive campus community

Responsibilities

• Teach 1 to 3 sections in an active term
• Course preparation, teaching and grading
• Available to students who have questions or require extra help
• Performs other teaching-related duties as assigned.
