About The Position

The department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time temporary teaching positions. A classroom based 3 credit hour course pays $4000 per class. The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department. ILLUSTRATIVE NEEDS INCLUDE the following: Early Childhood Curriculum and Development; Children, Families and Communities; Educational Technology; Math, Science and Social Studies Methods; Supervision of Student Teachers; and Early Childhood Inclusive and Special Education Assessment and Practice.

Requirements

• Master's degree in area related to course content.

• Terminal degree preferred.
• P-12 or college teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach part-time temporary courses in Childhood/Early Childhood Education.
• Develop and deliver course content in specified subject areas.
