About The Position
To teach lecture and/or lab courses as assigned by the Department Chair. Selected applicants will be interviewed to establish a pool of approved Chemistry instructors for possible Part-Time teaching assignments in the Science Department.
Requirements
- Masters Degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education including 18 graduate hours in Chemistry required.
- Ability to communicate with written and oral expertise in the English language.
- Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences.
- Computer skills including all Microsoft Office programs, downloading and installing software, sending and receiving emails with attachments.
- Ability to successfully interact with students, faculty and staff.
- Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences.
- Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
Nice To Haves
- Community college and/or secondary teaching experience preferred.
