Responsibilities

To teach courses in the Biology program
To design and deliver a competency-based curriculum using multiple instructional modalities, including online, hybrid and lecture
Ability to develop course work that prepares students for the challenging professional positions within the fields of Allied Health and Biology.
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with students and colleagues
Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of a comprehensive community college
Work collaboratively with others in a diverse and inclusive environment
Work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive, and student-centered environment, with students of various learning styles, cultures, identities, and life-experience
Plan, develop, present, and modify courses from proposal, to syllabus, to delivery, to assessment, to evaluation
Teach assigned courses
Convey knowledge and skills effectively to students
Continue professional development as an educator
Use advanced technologies to expand student resources and learning opportunities
Assess student learning according to best practices in measurement of student performance objectives and outcomes
Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in pedagogical approaches to a diverse population of students and peers
