About The Position

The position engages students in the teaching/learning process and works on an assigned schedule. The instructor is responsible for planning and teaching courses that fulfill the current curriculum goals and objectives, remaining current with subject matter and instructional methodology, and employing appropriate assessment techniques to measure student performance in achieving course goals and objectives. The instructor communicates progress in the course to students in a timely manner, determines and submits students' grades in accordance with established College policies and procedures, supports the mission of the program, division, and College, and performs duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or related field required.
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience required, preferably at the college level.
  • Background in criminal justice field.
