About The Position

The Adjunct Faculty member for the Cyberpsychology program at Albizu University will deliver high-quality instruction for undergraduate courses, focusing on the intersection of technology and human behavior. This role involves teaching, fostering student engagement, and contributing to the academic program's development, alongside research and professional development activities.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or equivalent in Cyberpsychology, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred.
  • Demonstrated record of scholarly research and publications is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Cyberpsychology principles and applications.
  • Strong teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage and motivate undergraduate students.
  • Proficiency with educational technologies and online teaching platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and teach undergraduate courses in Cyberpsychology, including both core and elective offerings.
  • Develop and implement innovative and engaging course content and teaching materials.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through a variety of methods such as exams, projects, and presentations.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students.
  • Conduct research in Cyberpsychology and related fields.
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.
  • Participate in departmental and university committees.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Cyberpsychology undergraduate curriculum.
  • Engage in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues on academic initiatives.
  • Stay current with advancements in Cyberpsychology and related disciplines.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain involvement in relevant professional organizations.
