About The Position

To teach lecture and/or lab courses as assigned by the Department Chair. Selected applicants will be interviewed to establish a pool of approved Biology instructors for possible Part-Time teaching assignments in the Science Department.

Requirements

• Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Anatomy & Physiology and or related courses from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
• Ability to communicate with written and oral expertise in the English language.
• Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.

Nice To Haves

• Community college and/or secondary teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture and/or lab courses as assigned by the Department Chair.
• Teach and prepare in-person lectures and labs in one or more of the following courses: BIOL 2401 - Anatomy & Physiology I BIOL 2402 - Anatomy & Physiology II
• Promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences.
