The role will be responsible for the following: POSITION SUMMARY This is a remote position. Under the supervision of the Department Head and/or Lead Faculty, Adjunct Faculty have as their chief duty the instruction of assigned classes. Responsibilities include: conducting classes using appropriate instructional practices, maintaining records of attendance, evaluating student performance on assignments, monitoring and communicating progress to students and the appropriate college employees, assigning midterm grades and final grades, completing mandatory training as needed, and performing other duties as assigned. Beyond teaching responsibilities, Adjunct Faculty are also obligated to comply with and support college policies as outlined in the Strategic Plan, the College Catalog, the Adjunct Faculty Handbook, and the Employment Agreement.
