About The Position

Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty (day, evening and weekend) positions for an Anatomy and Physiology adjunct. Adjunct Faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed. Responsibilities include teaching college level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends. This position will be located on the Middletown Campus, Fauquier Campus, and Luray-Page County Center as needed. Please note: applicants must reside in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland or DC.

Requirements

• Masters in the field or Masters with 18 graduate credits in the field.
• Ability to use instructional technology.

Nice To Haves

• Occupational experience in the field.
• Experience with Canvas or other online course management tools.
• College level teaching experience, online experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
• Ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

• Teach college level courses in Anatomy and Physiology.
• Conduct classes during day, evening, and weekend hours.
• Utilize instructional technology for teaching.
• May include distance learning on and off campus.
