About The Position
The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) is seeking applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty in Academic Support for the Radiation Therapy program. This part-time role involves providing supplemental tutoring support to students enrolled in the School of Medical Imaging and Therapeutics. The successful candidate will be responsible for tutoring students in various courses, including Foundations in Radiation Therapy I and II, Radiation Therapy Treatment Methods, and other related subjects as needed. The tutoring sessions will be conducted virtually or in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility in scheduling and accessibility for students. In this role, the adjunct faculty member will meet with students by appointment to provide personalized support tailored to their individual needs. After each tutoring session, the faculty member will assign work to students to assess their understanding of the material covered. Collaboration with the course instructor is essential to develop a specific plan of action for students who may require additional assistance. The faculty member will also provide constructive feedback to students regarding their progress in the subject matter and communicate this feedback to the program director to ensure that student development is monitored effectively.
