About The Position

Husson University is seeking qualified and experienced instructors to teach the following undergraduate courses in the Exercise Science program: Principles of Strength and Cardiovascular Conditioning and Prevention and Management of Chronic Disease. This is a face-to-face position; instructors are expected to be on campus.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Exercise Science or a related field is required
• Ph.D. preferred; ABD considered
• Experience working in the health and fitness field
• Certification or professional fitness experience
• Higher education teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Preparing and conducting classes
• Preparing and grading assignments
• Holding weekly office hours with students

• Maximum pay of $933.33 per credit hour for Masters Prepared undergraduate courses
• Maximum pay of $1,016.67 per credit hour for Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared undergraduate courses
• Maximum pay of $1,016.67 per credit hour for Masters Level Prepared graduate courses
• Maximum pay of $1,100.00 per credit hour for Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared graduate courses
• $1,150.00 per credit hour for Masters Prepared lab sections
• $1,250.00 per credit hour for Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared lab sections
