About The Position

The Adjunct Faculty member in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Education provides high-quality instruction to students enrolled in EMS certificate and degree programs. This role supports the mission of the college by preparing students for success as competent, compassionate, and ethical EMS professionals. The adjunct faculty member will deliver classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction in accordance with program standards, state and national EMS education guidelines, and institutional policies.

Requirements

• Current certification as a NREMT Paramedic
• State of Texas certification/licensure as a Paramedic

Nice To Haves

• Associates of applied science degree in EMS
• Prior experience in EMS education or skills instruction
• Familiarity with simulation-based training and EMS lab equipment
• Certified EMS Instructor

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction in EMS programs
• Provide laboratory instruction in EMS skills
• Conduct clinical instruction in EMS settings
• Ensure compliance with program standards and guidelines
• Support students in their educational journey
