About The Position

BASIC FUNCTION : Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Ecology courses up to 10 hours/week Organize and teach all levels of Ecology classes Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning; Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses; Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester; Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired

Requirements

• Master’s in ecology or environmental studies
• OR the equivalent
• OR see Interdisciplinary Studies
• Master’s in the interdisciplinary area
• OR
• Master’s in one of the disciplines included in the inter- disciplinary area and upper division or graduate course work in at least one other constituent discipline.
