About The Position

The position involves teaching college credit courses, grading all class coursework, and assigning final grades. Instructors are expected to teach transferable computer classes that cover the Windows operating system, basic computer concepts, Microsoft Office applications, and usage of the Internet. Additionally, all adjunct faculty members are required to participate in department, division, and general adjunct faculty meetings, and complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Masters Degree with 18 graduate hours in computer science
• Must meet the appropriate credentialing requirements for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)

Responsibilities

• Teaching college credit courses
• Grading all class coursework
• Assigning final grades
• Teaching transferable computer classes covering Windows OS, basic computer concepts, Microsoft Office applications, and Internet usage
• Participating in department, division, and general adjunct faculty meetings
