About The Position

The position involves teaching SCIE 1343 General Chemistry II Lecture (3 credits) and its related Laboratory section(s) (each lab equals 1.5 credits) for traditional undergraduate students at our main campus in Kirkland, WA. This is a part-time, adjunct role within the College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology, reporting to the Dean of the College.

Requirements

  • Holds a doctorate or master's degree in Chemistry or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated record of successful teaching, preferably at the college level.
  • Possesses a deep, personal commitment to Jesus Christ and to the Spirit-filled life.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the integration of faith and learning.

Responsibilities

  • Teach SCIE 1343 General Chemistry II Lecture and its related Laboratory sections.
  • Engage with traditional undergraduate students at the main campus.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, faculty, and university staff.

Benefits

  • Compensation based on highest applicable degree earned, ranging from $1,230 to $1,407 per credit.
