About The Position
Holy Cross College is seeking an Adjunct Business Faculty member to join our Business Department. This position is part-time and will involve teaching up to two face-to-face courses per semester across various business disciplines, including management, finance, communication, organizational behavior, human resources, international business, business law, and strategy. The successful candidate will lead two, 75-minute in-class sessions each week for 16 weeks, starting in the spring 2025 semester. This role is integral to our mission of educating and forming global citizens with a strong ethical foundation and critical reasoning skills. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the Adjunct Faculty member will host regular office hours both on campus and online to support student learning and engagement. The faculty member will also be expected to support partnerships for student programming, which may include extracurricular internships, seminars, and competitions. Essential administrative functions such as providing timely feedback to students, conducting course assessments, and reporting midterm and final grades within three days of course completion are also part of the role. Weekly attendance reporting is required to ensure accurate tracking of student participation.
