About The Position

Rochester Community and Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Aviation Instructor to teach in the Aviation Pilot program for the Fall 26' semester. This position may include instruction in ground school and other aviation-related coursework. The Adjunct Aviation Instructor will provide instruction in Aviation Pilot program courses. Teaching assignments may include topics such as Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, and CFI ground school courses, as well as Advanced Aircraft Systems or Aviation Human Factors. The successful candidate will demonstrate competency in aviation instruction and a strong commitment to student learning. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
2 full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid occupational experience as a pilot and/or flight instructor, including a minimum of 200 hours of dual instruction
1 year of this work experience must be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field (recency requirement waived if individual has two years of successful full-time or equivalent postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years)
Hold Certified Flight Instructor – Airplane (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) credentials
