About The Position

Farmingdale State College is seeking adjunct faculty for the Architecture & Construction Management department. The available courses include CON350 - Introduction to Construction Engineering, CON351 - Construction Safety, CON355 - Const. Mgmt. Financial & Accounting Princ., CON357 - Quantity Surveying and Costing, CON401W - Construction Project Management, CON406 - Advanced Project Planning and Scheduling, and CON496 - Capstone Project. Requirements

• B.S. in Construction Management and MS in Construction Management or related field, or
• B. Arch. (5 year), or
• M. Arch., or
• B.S. Arch. and MS in related field, or
• B.S. in Civil Engineering, or
• B.S. in Surveying or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Architectural Registration (RA) license, or
• Professional Engineering (PE) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
• 3 years of professional work experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in construction project management and construction engineering as part of the Architectural Engineering Technology and Construction Management Engineering Technology programs.
• Ensure course content aligns with learning objectives and student outcomes.
• Participate in student-centered service activities and promote civic engagement with community partners.
