About The Position

SUNY Plattsburgh's Feinberg Library seeks part-time, temporary librarians to provide research assistance at the Research Help desk. Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching in an institution dedicated primarily to undergraduate education. They will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity and gender issues, as SUNY Plattsburgh is committed to ensuring that its graduates are educated to succeed in an increasingly complex, multicultural, and interdependent world. Requirements

• Masters' Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff, and administrators.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in academic library and classroom instruction is preferred.
