About The Position
The University of New England College of Dental Medicine invites applications for part-time adjunct clinical track positions in Prosthodontics at the Assistant Clinical Professor rank. Located on UNE's Portland Campus for the Health Sciences, UNE CDM is the only dental school in a region where access to quality oral healthcare is a persistent challenge, especially in rural areas. Requirements
- Qualified candidates must possess a D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent and have successfully completed the NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE.
- By the position start date, the candidate must have completed a CODA-accredited graduate program in Prosthodontics
- Must be Board Certified, or eligible for Board Certification, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics
- Must have active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full/faculty).
- Clinical faculty must meet the State of Maine's immunization requirements for clinical activity and be medically cleared, fit tested, and trained on proper respirator (N95, Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR)) use.
Responsibilities
- The Prosthodontics faculty member will serve in the Department of Restorative & Clinical Sciences.
- Core responsibilities will include pre-clinical and clinical instruction.
