Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Machinist to join our team in the H20 additive manufacturing cell. The Machinist will be responsible for operating both metal and polymer 3D printers and performing various post-processing operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of general manufacturing experience with advanced manufacturing equipment is desired
  • Must be able to read and follow planning instructions
  • Must be able to use hand tools and standard measuring instruments
  • Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Responsibilities

  • Set up and tear down builds and perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Complete Laser Additive Metal Processing (LAMP) certification.
  • Operate and maintain plastic 3D printers.
  • Operate and maintain metal additive machines.
  • Perform post-processing operations such as vacuum heat treatment, band saw and wire EDM cutoff, support removal, deburring, grit blasting, etc.
  • Communicate change of shift requirements to ensure team members receive accurate and reliable information and documentation.
  • Clean, organize and maintain cellular manufacturing work area in accordance with established standards.
  • Ensure the continuous flow of materials and parts throughout the cell.
