A nationally recognized leader in defense manufacturing is conducting a confidential search for an Additive Manufacturing Technician to support aerospace and defense programs. Requirements

• VantageClear Certification (or equivalent U.S. defense-industry clearance/compliance credential) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (degree in Model Making, Engineering, or related field preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in additive manufacturing or related technical field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of additive manufacturing technologies and material properties.
• Familiarity with machine interfaces, print reading, and ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards.
• Proficiency with standard hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing production needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain additive manufacturing equipment.
• Prepare machines for production, perform build startups, and handle materials (vat swaps, powder refills, tip changes).
• Apply post-processing and finishing techniques to ensure high-quality aerospace-grade parts.
• Read and interpret prints, specification sheets, and 3D files to meet engineering requirements.
• Track production progress and maintain records within the ERP system.
• Perform cleaning, routine maintenance, and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers and production team members to meet tight aerospace/defense schedules.
