This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will be responsible for Additive Manufacturing machine set up, operation, monitoring and build to build change over as well as some preventive maintenance. These machine and processing equipment support Blue Origin's various spaceflight systems. You will monitor and record operational information such as functional issues related to laser melt pool, material consumption rates, material inventory, build start and completion dates. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of Additive Manufactured spaceflight and supporting hardware, continuous improvement, automation, and process development. The Additive Manufacturing (AM) Engineering Technician position, being very hands-on, offers critical insight into the daily AM machine/equipment functions that may not be well-understood by AM Programmers, AM Applications, and/or the management team. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.
