About The Position

The position involves providing non-instructional support and assistance to students with moderate to severe disabilities under the guidance of a classroom teacher or special educator. The individual will help facilitate the participation of these students in the school environment, ensuring that they meet the necessary requirements for their educational programs. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Ability to follow directions from teachers and special educators.
• Strong communication skills.
• Patience and understanding when working with students with special needs.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in special education or related field.
• Experience in a classroom setting.
• Knowledge of Individual Educational Programs (IEPs).
