HealthRIGHT 360 gives hope, builds health, and changes lives for people in need by providing comprehensive, integrated, compassionate care that includes primary medical care, mental health services, and substance use disorder treatment. Under the clinical supervision of the Director of Addiction Medicine, the Addiction Provider is primarily responsible for the management of intoxication and withdrawal states, the initiation and monitoring of Medically Assisted Treatment, and the evaluation and management of addiction-related medical and psychiatric problems. The Addiction Provider will conduct medical histories, perform physical examinations, apply screening tools, order and interpret laboratory tests, and complete standard documentation related to the treatment of addiction. They will work in collaboration with medical and behavioral health staff in our Central Intake Department, Withdrawal Management Program, and Residential and Outpatient Programs, providing direct patient care within these settings. Additionally, the Addiction Provider may supervise Advanced Practice Providers and the MAT healthcare treatment team in the absence of the Director of Addiction Medicine, which may include managing Medical Assistants and Nurse functions. The position may require after-hours work in assisting Behavioral Health staff during the night and on weekends.
