Divide clinical time between the Presbyterian Espanola Hospital (PEH) PMG Renewal Clinic and the PEH Addiction Medicine Consult Service (inpatient and emergency department), treating patients with multiple substance use disorders both in-person and via telemedicine. Assignment and scheduling to the AMCS vs. Renewal Clinic will be adapted as the service line grows to best fit the needs of the AMCS and Renewal Clinic, taking advantage of the individual physicians training, experience, skills and preferences. For example: A physician with a primary background in pediatrics may be assigned primarily to the Renewal Clinic (to see adolescents and young adults), with some specific inpatient consultation duties, such as with adolescents, young adults, and newborns. A physician with a primary background in emergency medicine or internal medicine may be scheduled more often on the AMCS. At Presbyterian, it's not just what we do that matters. It's how we do it.
