About The Position

MAIN FUNCTION: To be responsible for the direct treatment of an assigned caseload of clients who are addicted to alcohol or any other moodaltering substances. User role(s) information systems access as assigned, where applicable This position is classified as Essential for emergency closure purposes.

Requirements

Licensed Qualified Health Professional (CASAC, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC), plus one year of full-time paid experience in substance abuse treatment.

Proficient in computer usage including EMR System, Microsoft Outlook and other information systems.

Responsibilities

Provides group counseling to an assigned caseload.
Provides individual counseling as clinically necessary.
Designs and implements treatment plans and treatment plan reviews.
Generates referral source progress reports.
Conducts lectures, seminars, workshops, and taskoriented groups.
Maintains contact with referral sources, including EAP’s, probation, parole and outpatient treatment providers, etc.
Initiates Discharge Planning and makes appropriate referrals when necessary.
Participates in all scheduled Case Conferencing and Discharge Planning meetings for treatment review of clients.
Attends biweekly individual supervision and bi-weekly group supervision.
Participates in staff meetings.
Completes all required consent for release of information forms.
Conduct Peer Review monthly.
Enter progress notes and other clinical documentation as needed into the EMR.
Responsible for approving qualified family members for attendance in the Family Program.
Performs other duties as assigned.
