This position provides individual counseling, case management, and group education for individuals and families impacted by alcohol and drug dependency. With compassion, expertise, and commitment, you'll help foster hope, healing, and long-term recovery.

  • Provide individual counseling and case management for patients.
  • Conduct group education sessions for individuals and families.
  • Support patients on their recovery journey under the guidance of a Program Manager.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in substance abuse or mental health (pre- or post-degree).
  • Current certification by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors as a CAC-AD, CSC-AD, or Addiction Counselor Trainee.
  • A solid foundation in individual and group counseling, along with family education techniques.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust and connect with patients, families, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Strong written communication and documentation abilities to support effective treatment planning and collaboration.
