About The Position
The Addiction Counselor is responsible for routine duties of an Addiction Counselor, including, but not limited to screening, assessment, treatment planning, education, referral and documentation. Hybrid / telehealth may be an option but would not be available until after the successful completion of the probationary period. Essential Functions include delivery of clinical services such as individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, intensive outpatient services, requesting urinalysis, non-medical community residential services, consultation, referral and information, intervention, hotline, training, outreach, crisis intervention, case management and adjunctive alcohol and drug services. The role also involves assessment and treatment planning, oversight of each case assigned to caseload, engaging the family of each client, and participation in various review programs.
