About The Position

The ADC Attendant at Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is responsible for maintaining positive donor relations and managing the donation process at the Attended Donation Center (ADC). This role involves greeting donors, processing donations, and ensuring the ADC is well-maintained and secure. The position is integral to the retail operations that support the organization's mission of empowering individuals in the community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to model agency values and serve as stewards of donations and the environment.
• Use of courtesy and tact in dealing with people.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure the ADC according to the regular schedule.
• Greet donors promptly and courteously, unloading donations and offering tax receipts.
• Maintain accurate daily counts of donations and break down donations into categories.
• Ensure the drive-through and ADC site meet image standards.
• Order and maintain supplies efficiently, ensuring proper use and security of supplies.
• Adhere to Goodwill policies and procedures, including safety practices.
• Notify the supervisor of any absences and ensure the ADC is not left unattended.
• Report large items that cannot be stored for truck pickup to the supervisor.
• Participate in activities outside of Goodwill as requested.
• Attend in-service and related training as assigned.
