About The Position

The ADC Attendant position at Goodwill involves accepting donations from the public and ensuring a respectful and efficient donation process. Responsibilities

• Accept donations from the general public.
• Treat all donors and all donations with respect.
• Assist every donor in unloading donated items from their vehicles.
• Offer every donor a donation tax receipt and sign all receipts acknowledging acceptance of donations.
• Thank every donor for their donation.
• Dress appropriately in accordance with Goodwill dress code.
• Demonstrate effective communication of the Goodwill Mission to donors.
• Maintain the interior and exterior of the ADC, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness.
• Maintain safe conditions for donors and staff and perform proper fire safety procedures.
• Report any accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Ensure donor access is clear of snow and ice in winter.
• Store donations safely and orderly, utilizing all available space.
• Place all donations left outside in off hours inside immediately.
• Work at a pace that prevents backup or overflow of donations.
• Maintain accurate records of total daily donors.
• Assist in loading and unloading Goodwill trucks.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Politely refuse any donation that does not meet Goodwill's standards.
