The ADAS Strategy Director will serve as the global leader for ADAS strategy within the Technology Strategy organization. This position involves leading a multi-disciplinary team to define the future of Ford’s ADAS technology platforms, working closely with technical experts and executive leadership to establish the compute, sensing, software, and feature roadmaps necessary to maintain Ford's leadership in ADAS technology. The director must also ensure these systems align with corporate cost, quality, and complexity objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team to define the future of Ford’s ADAS technology platforms
• Work closely with technical experts and executive leadership to define the compute, sensing, software, and feature roadmaps needed to keep Ford on the cutting edge of ADAS technology
• Ensure ADAS systems meet corporate cost, quality, and complexity objectives
• Manage Ford’s ADAS investment portfolio
• Ensure sufficient resources to achieve objectives and drive clear tradeoff decisions where needed
• Lead systematic competitive intelligence and benchmarking across OEMs, suppliers, startups, and ecosystem partners
• Leverage supplier relationships, industry consortiums, competitive tear-downs, and major tech events to inform strategy
• Serve as the company’s subject-matter expert on current and future ADAS industry trends, competitive analysis and threat identification, and ADAS technology migration across Ford’s global portfolio
