About The Position

Lead the development and integration of Functional Safety work products on vehicle program applications for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features like BlueCruise and Pro-Trailer Hitch Assist Develop and maintain Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments (HARA), Functional Safety Concepts (FSC), and Technical Safety Concepts (TSC). Produce safety analysis (DFMEA, FTA, DFA, per ISO 26262) Support the planning of Safety Verification & Validation activities at different levels of system abstraction Support the creation of test cases (DVP), their execution and evaluation of the results Contribute to the safety audits and assessments Collaborate cross-functionally with systems, hardware, software, and V&V stakeholders to deliver a safe product with a comprehensive safety case As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, Computer Engineering or related degree; or foreign equivalency degree, or a combination of equivalent experience and education.
  • 5 years of experience products in mass production
  • 2 years of experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Master's Degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, Computer Engineering or related degree; or foreign equivalency degree, or a combination of equivalent experience and education.
  • 5+ years of experience with automotive product development
  • 2+ years of experience with SysML / MagicDraw
  • 2+ years of experience with the development of automotive sensors (e.g., cameras, radars) and ECUs
  • 2+ years of experience developing and conducting laboratory and vehicle tests, gathering and analyzing data
