About The Position

The Adaptive Sports Marketing and Communications Intern will learn about the various marketing and communication strategies that Move United utilizes as well as assist with the planning and logistics that are needed to deliver a large scale national adaptive sports event.

Requirements

• Background in the field, including formal education or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Technologically proficient, with experience using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Suite
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background screening
• Availability to travel within the U.S. (air and ground)
• Self-motivated
• Takes initiative
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Organized with strong multi-tasking abilities
• Works well in a team environment
• Effective communicator across multiple platforms

Nice To Haves

• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), web platforms (e.g., WordPress), digital marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact), and social media platforms
• Digital design and video editing experience (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or Adobe )

Responsibilities

• Assist with the execution of marketing projects and campaigns, including market research, trends, and analysis
• Assist with content creation for social media, including writing, graphics, and video
• Assist with website updates and content creation
• Assist with podcast post-production
• Assist with analytics for website, social media, newsletters, and other campaigns to help measure effectiveness
• Provide administrative assistance to the marketing team, such as managing databases and organizing files
• Assist with event planning, logistics, and materials/assets for national adaptive sports events
• Support event promotion through social media, email, and other digital channels
• Help with event setup, coordination, and execution, as needed
• Complete required internship training
• Maintain weekly meetings with their supervisor
• Participate in mid-point and end-of-internship evaluations
• Complete necessary paperwork if seeking college credit
