These benefits are just a few reasons to join our team. SUMMARY St. Vincent Prep Academy is currently looking for Behavioral Specialists for grades pre-K-5 for the 2023/24 school year.

Requirements

Highschool diploma plus 3 years of experience working with children required.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Bachelor’s degree does not require 3 years of experience).

Responsibilities

Utilize behavior modification techniques to monitor progress and promote growth.
Implement and use Trauma Informed Care.
Assist with planning for school and summer programming and special events.
Promote parental involvement.
Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
Facilitate behavior group as needed.
Act as a role model to children to promote appropriate interaction and coping skills.
Assist transportation services with boarding and de-boarding the children.
Provide a safe, structured environment free from physical, verbal or emotional abuse for each child.
