The Special Education Adaptive Behavior (AB) Teacher position is designed for an educator who strives to positively impact classroom success for students eligible for special education supports and services but exhibit behaviors and/or social skills that may impact their participation participation in the general education classroom. The Adaptive Behavior (AB) Teacher is responsible for the behavior, academic instruction and case management of eligible students with disabilities as assigned by the Admission, Review and Dismissal Committee. The work of the Adaptive Behavior (AB) Teacher is guided by curriculum standards and by federal, state and district special education policy and procedure.
