At Cornerstone School, we believe movement is more than just activity—it’s a pathway to confidence, independence, and joy. We’re looking for an Adapted Physical Education Teacher who’s passionate about helping every student access and benefit from physical activity in a meaningful way. In this role, you’ll design and deliver creative, individualized physical education programming for students ages 3–22 with complex learning needs, including Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and significant medical or sensory challenges. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to adapt activities, build motor skills, and create inclusive opportunities for students to grow physically, socially, and emotionally. Whether it’s developing strength and coordination, encouraging teamwork, or celebrating small victories, your work will play a key role in helping students thrive. If you’re energetic, innovative, and committed to meeting students where they are, this is your opportunity to make movement meaningful—every single day.
