  • Coordinate University policies and procedures relating to persons with disabilities regarding facilities and space accommodations.
  • Provide compliance oversight to ensure adherence to the ADA and Section 504 regulations.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for accessibility questions and accommodation requests.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of university facilities and programs.
  • Develop, implement, and update policies related to physical access and accommodations.
  • Assist with training and guidance on disability rights and accessibility best practices.
  • Address disability-related complaints and concerns promptly and fairly.
  • Maintain accurate records of complaints and compliance efforts and complete necessary reports.
  • Stay current on laws and best practices related to space and facilities accommodations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure appropriate accommodations are provided.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance accessibility and compliance.
  • Monitor and document ADA/Section 504 compliance initiatives and outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and updates for senior leadership regarding compliance status.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience in disability services, compliance, or a related area (an advanced degree may substitute for experience).
  • Strong knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and ensure compliance with HIPAA and FERPA.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate policies and legal concepts effectively in oral and written formats.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
